I love Freddie so much, he gas a great smile and I live hearing him laugh. he definitely left us too soon. Just an amazing talent and he is the best performer and Queen is my favourite band ever. Freddie mercury and his cats shirt It was what it was,we could not say that it was to good for this world,he did human mistakes, wasn’t an angel not at all!But we can say it was and it is a legend!
Freddie mercury and his cats shirt
Besides I don’t remember him ever getting all that famous, neither was he ever held up as anything more than he is, an entertainer.. and as he tries to be more now he’s shot down for his past. I’m not arguing FOR Russel Brand, I’m not really arguing at all, I’m just saying it’s stupid to idolize celebrities at all and they’re often the opposite of what they pretend to be.. so yeah, Russel Brand is an asshole too then, only kinda strengthens my point. I’ll admit, i always enjoyed Queen but after watching the Bohemian Rhapsody movie, I gained a whole new appreciation and love for them. Freddie mercury and his cats shirt My kids love queen too alone is a testament to how much of legend Mercury is. Nobody commands the stage like he does. He’s got the whole stadium in the palm of his hands. Ya know, I was in college during that time and I don’t remember any “homophobic” backlash. We all just loved Queen. Rock&rollers don’t give a big rat’s behind who musicians choose to love — if their music rocks, we’ll love them and we’ll stand in line for days to buy tickets to hear them sing.

I don’t remember it as such myself, though there was a bit of backlash over the video for “I Want to Break Free”. MTV and some other stations refused to play it, because of being seen as an “open declaration of transvestism and Mercury’s bisexuality.” There are also a lot of other “myths & legends” about him and items that will be brought up as they will about anyone who could party as much as he could. Regardless, there will never be another one like him. I hadn’t thought about that but you are so right! Only rich kids got orthodontics. The rest of us lived with overbites. I don’t remember anybody even mentioning Freddie’s. All we knew was he had the voice of an angel and could rock our socks off! I mean, yeah, every now and then somebody might say, “well, you know he’s gay,” but we’d all just nod and keep right on rockin’. Nobody. Cared. We just loved his music — and we still do.
