in the video was great but the illustration of it in the mid-part of it bring it to the extreme. if one is talented in English but score a B or C in Maths Wu-tang clan weaponry shirt it is fine but this is not the same as “he needs not understand maths” which bring across a message of hostile attitude toward areas not defined as one’s forte.

I did not disagree with the intention as stated in my comment, you do not seem to understand that, but it should not be at the expense of truth, accuracy…. and reality. Giving them the wrong Idea will do more harm than good. As a student and a teacher my realization is different honestly I belong to those student who would skip classes because I know that I am a talented one I hate exams, projects etc. . I thought being talented and skillful is enough but I was wrong. When I finished college I need to take a board examination then talent and skills doesn’t work. Thanks be to God that I’ve passed and practice my profession. Indeed Examination is still important and every subject taught is useful to anyone
That’s right, life is never so simple, everyone needs to invest efforts not just in things we like or prefer, there will always be things that we do not enjoy but need to do. can you give an example of this? “Maths is also very much part of Art in how the Artist deconstructs and reconstructs imageries.” I’m sure there are some cases where this is true (Da Vinci being the most well known), but I do wonder how many artists are consciously applying formula’s to their work? when you do live drawing, you have to determine the relationships of the visual elements such as point, lines, shapes spatially in proportion… And translate these fr 3D space onto 2D surface in your drawing… All these can be measured once you determine the unit of measurement that is scaled accordingly.
