I absolutely agree. I was very frustrated last week because the overwhelming sense I felt was that it was so rushed. They spent 55 nights out in the cold and shitty weather, but just couldn’t give all that hard work the air time it deserved. Again, the feeling of it being not as it use to be was there, but I am definitely still well and truly a massive fan and very appreciative of what has been given to us I think that negotiation scene was set up to just ensure we would all know that Cersei means business. I think they also wanted to give Missandei a noble death and that was the perfect set up in the short time we have left of the series. Daenery’s has none of her original close confidantes and is really started to show her teeth.
