Ned Stark’s sword was reforged into 2 separate swords, Widow’s Wail and Oathkeeper. Tywin gave Jamie Oathkeeper but Jamie gave it to Brianne when he tasked her with saving Sansa. 8 years thank you for the memories game of thrones shirt Widow’s Wail went to Joffrey but when he died Jamie took the sword. It’s only fitting Jamie knighted Brianne with Ned’s old sword in Winterfell hall. It’s also fitting these 2 sister swords are back in the North protecting Winterfell
8 years thank you for the memories game of thrones shirt
i kind of like the fact that they have Jon bonding with the dragons in this way….only a Targaryen can ride a dragon and everyone prob thinks its due to his “closeness” with Dany that the dragon accepts him, when in reality its his bloodline and lineage..and only the dragon knows at this point…. I think when the truth came out to Jon there should have been Ned Starks voice in his mind echoing what Ned said when he made the promise to tell Jon about his mother. 8 years thank you for the memories game of thrones shirt the ink is dry and the made it very good … the first episode has to run because now there are a lot of questions which we are thinking about. Some of the next will be more calm and Nutter (Director) is more the Dialog Guy of Directors. One Director is more the Warscene Guy who made the Battle of the Bastards. Just be Patient. With 5 episode left. It should be rushed. A lot of things could and should happen. In the 3rd or 4th episode. The battle of the living
Welcome to the hot collection

Most excellent point. I completely forgot what had become of Ned’s sword and therefore didn’t make that connection. That just made that scene all the more significant. Good catch Speaking of Swords, did everyone notice how Jon Snow’s sword opened its eyes on the episode as he was coming up out of the icy water after fighting off the dead? And I noticed its eyes are still open. I wonder what that means?
I had thought about the fact that the two swords were finally together again defending winterfell (the stark home) but I didn’t think about the fact that he knighted Brienne with one. Very poetic The Sept has a crypt below where the royalty is buried. That’s where Joffrey eventually ended up. He was just lying in state in the main chamber. That’s where Jamie removed the sword, before the actual burial. Tomen never got a tomb because the Sept got blown up. Cersei told them to burn him and spread his ashes there, so he could be with his brother and sister and grandfather. And although I never saw Jamie get the sword, he did, because he has it now. He may not have gotten it until after tommen died. May have to go back and rewatch to see when it appears on Jamie on screen.
