I’ve been an educator for 18 years and I would NEVER conduct a conference in this manner… appalling! Instead, when I see a student who struggled, I enlist the help of my parents to see if there’s something that I’m unaware of that would help motivate their child. Education is not just what I teach; it’s a partnership between myself, the child, and the parents. I welcome the challenge in differentiating to help a child learn and succeed. Unicorn kill people hail satan retro shirt I appreciate that there are brilliant teachers, headteachers etc, maybe a majority, and I do accept you’d be hard pushed to find one who said “let’s face it, X isn’t too bright” But some of the comments made to me as a child by teachers, and some of the things said to my wife and I now about my son are despicable, often in front of him, I dread to think what they say to him and others when parents aren’t around. Keep up the good work though, I had some truly inspirational teachers and as a profession as a whole I think you are heroes.

I agree. There are good teachers….. and there are plenty of teachers who outright create trauma. I have trauma from a teacher, my son is experiencing it now. School can be a traumatic experience for people. So, the way the teacher was represented shows that teachers do induce trauma. And, teachers whining about not be represented well…. that’s not the point of the video. But teachers DO INDEED induce trauma and that also needs to be noted. but not everyone are good like you..

A lot of teachers might teach us about their major subjects, they may attended our classes, they did teach us what they know about that subject but most of them easily gave up on us just because we students are stubborns and annoying for them, because not all of us are excelling on their subjects and most of all instead they try to comfort, encourage and asks what our problems are they’re making it worst by telling negative things. You might be a great teacher but not all teachers are like you.
