She obviously has no idea that teachers don’t get paid for the summer – it’s not a paid vacation… Ew people unicorn shirt or what it’s like to be a teacher. I’m not a teacher but family members are and I’ve seen the other side. Would love to know what her job is.

I fully support our teachers! They are the most underpaid & under appreciated profession in our country. My children are both in college now but when they were in public school they did have some teachers that were very discouraging. However, the wonderful, encouraging teachers far outweighed the negative ones. With that being said, it was still hard for them to overcome that negativity even with all the positive teachers who were in their lives. Ew people unicorn shirt Any parent should be proud and grateful for teachers like you. I’ve seen it first hand as a room mom. Many teachers are far more educated than many executives and get 1/3 the pay.
I know teachers are under paid. They are always getting the bugets cut! It is appalling that our younger people are so uneducated and our teachers make so little money! Not to pull politics in here but the lady in charge now is a joke. She’s not helping. Teachers have to buy supplies for children and it’s r idiculous about our whole school system now. this is true I was a foster parent and the kids I kept were from a bad situation and there mental health was harmed by the way they were treated and the teachers were horrible to the children I have now adopted and my child will not go to a public school there are some good teachers but from my experience they are not that many
