when she’d try the old tricks to hurt me they didn’t work anymore. It does not change the cotastratophic ruins that my sisters and I will probably not see each other again (they were affected by it too, only I was the scapegoat) and it does not change that my mother, who just stopped speaking to me at all once realised I was not playing the game anymore (or rather, was winning) died without ever speaking to me again.
