So that’s why the comic purists and long-time casual Batman fans aren’t feeling it.

Great point, but you have to know that Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker was one of the best. Even if he was alive he deserved that win at the Oscars.. The Joker is probably one of the most unpredictable characters ever created. Not only in looks but behavior. Also his role, he’s a mobster, he’s an anarchist, he’s a psychopath, he’s pretty much everything he wants to be. That’s the Joker. That’s who Joker is. For people to say “he doesn’t portray the Joker at all” can literally dig up Heath suck his bony dick and stfu. Lmao Phoenix IS portraying his Joker, which is the Joker. It’s an optimistic prediction. I’m just stoked for it and know that Phoenix is a great actor and will definitely do well. People gotta watch this movie, be a shame if it doesn’t make money
