This new movie ignores all the sequels, it is a direct sequel from the original, ignoring from 2 to everything else. Can someone please explain to me the connection between Michael and Laurie in this one? I read somewhere that they were not related. I love all of the Halloween movies, except I always am confused as to what happened Jamie’s baby. I always thought Laurie took the baby as her own and raised him in H2O , which is why she had a ‘son’ in that movie. Laurie is the only person to survive michaels rampage, and is the reason he got locked up. Basically Michael wants to take her out

because she’s the only victim to beat him. God I’m so excited for this movie Laurie was is younger sister that was adopted by a family he murdered in Halloween!! On Halloween, he showed her a pic of them together but she didn’t remember him.. Thats how they are related! I do like the nod to Halloween II with Mr Sandman in the trailer. Also, the lady in the pink bathrobe I see as a nod to the neighbor Mrs Elrod. I think it’s John Carpenter saying that the sequels were garbage, but that’s my interpretation. Especially since pink bathrobe gets it in this one..
