It’s a freedom many like this guy will never experience or understand. How one measures success and the types of freedoms they come with can vary. I live far below what he constitutes as poverty but live above what constitutes poverty in say, Yemen. If you’re getting bullied in school, you still get to go to school and be educated. Many countries, children are working, there is no school, no education. Hand-me-down clothing, since when is that impoverished? Maybe in the upper crusty layers of the socioeconomic spectrum. I got them in my middle class family. He never mentioned having to go days or weeks without food or shelter or whether or not the family had a vehicle.
