I’m a hard-core Deadhead, and a Stoopid head too. This version was weak AF IMO. But overall this event was dope.
Bobby played better during the first one of these. You can tell Bob he feels much more comfortable in his own element, i.e. with his own players of his choosing. As far as SS’s involvement in this song, it was pretty good. Grateful dead steal your face millennium falcon shirt Miles is a deadhead you can tell. What a groovy take on the song. Sadly I’m all in up until the moment Bobby opens his mouth to sing, then I think oh yeah, Jerrys not there. I’m not hatin on Bobby, I love Bobby, but Franklins is just such a Jerry tune, not the same. Good, but imagining how much better it would’ve been with these guys in, say 1980.

When people can feel that they can be honestly heard w/o fear of being fired, truth surfaces. Until then these bullies slime their ways into management roles and abuse the people under them. It’s so sad and so unfair. It’s time for this cycle of workplace abuse to stop. They should open their eyes and clean the wax out of their ears, maybe then, that company will succeed, but from the outside looking in, I don’t think so, too many toxic people working there and it’s starts with management
