Those are yours toys and you made the mess I’m not cleaning it… you clean it. It’s definitely not common sense. American cultures within marriages are still developing. It was always the job of the woman to hold down the fort. You would think after so many years it would have changed. Also it’s not just in America but within other cultures. Pretty much it’s still a thing even today. it’s learned behavior. I grew up in a home where my mom cooked, cleaned, washed clothes, and did all the housework. She did everything for me and my sister. My dad drank, hung out with his friends, and worked outside of the house.

Since that wasn’t something that was modeled in my home I grew up thinking that all of that was a woman’s job. My dad would take it a step further and tell me that it was a sign of weakness to wash dishes, vacuum the house, do laundry and such. He grew up without his mom, she passed away when he was young. Most MEN don’t act this way you just have a guy who is pandering to feminist or a feminist who is pandering to her group. Most MEN know what it takes to have a successful relationship and it’s much more than things being 50-50. Secondly if the man is the one who goes to work all day why the woman is just at home then yes she should take up more of the housework.
