But addicts deserve love, compassion, sympathy, & kindness just like everyone else. It is truly sickening to me when people make off handed comments so easily. She’s JUST an addict. I truly wish more people would educate themselves about addiction. The way the brain works. The predisposition if you were born in a family who has addictions. I’m not saying that the addict is completely not to blame. But NO ONE EVER has tried any drug or alcohol intending to become an addict. To lose who they are and struggle through life living a sad existence. No one. Nowadays, a large amount of addictions started as a young teenager making a stupid choice & trying drugs.
