If that’s what you’re referring to Mike Jones absolutely it is “white” of me. stupid games win stupid prizes. If you sit there and do nothing to make the cop think you are trying to attack him, no matter what color you are nothing will happen. If you do something to make the cop fear for his life and safety no matter what color you are it is your fault for what happens. I mean instead of killing us, they could let us At least exercise our God given rights. That would be nice. It would also be nice if people wouldn’t justify flat out murders. That would be nice as well.
I think it’s very likely that white people would be saying exactly the same thing if cops were repeatedly murdering white people all over the country and not being prosecuted. I think the point Colin is trying to make is how hard it is to reform a system that is this badly broken. It might be helpful to understand that the phenomena of police murdering black citizens is not new news to the black community. They’ve known this was going on for a very, very long time. As a white woman, it’s really shocking to me that other white folks don’t get this? I honestly don’t understand how you and other people like you aren’t horrified by what’s happening.
