I can’t believe I’m actually going here, but she has a good point. And the response I read is a bit judgemental. Life is not a fairy tale and it certainly isn’t encapsulated by a Facebook Post. Love is a wonderful thing, but it isn’t everything. Spending all your time making someone else happy is not healthy. There has to be something more… Like volunteering, making a difference in your community, a career, hobbies, etc. Without teachers we wouldn’t be nurses shirt I know I don’t a woman who has nothing going for her other than our relationship. That’s smothering. And to be honest, as sweet as the author’s sentiments are, keeping up such an “obsession” will smother the woman of his “dreams”. Because most girls will automatically call a guy a creeper, or thirsty, or dismiss a guy that tries to talk to them on social media. I want you to think about this. Yes, maybe that guy thinks you are attractive. And what is the chance he will randomly encounter you in a public setting? So his only opportunity to try and talk to you maybe thru social media. What’s the difference if a guy tries to talk to you in a bar or if he tries to talk to you on IG? Plus a lot of guys don’t have the courage to talk to or approach a beautiful woman in public. Ladies.

Next time a guy tries to talk to you on social media that you may not know. Either give him a chance or let him down easy. Don’t automatically dismiss him, call him thirsty, and take screenshots of the conversation and post it to put him on blast for all your friends to see. If he’s rude to you. That’s one thing. But if he’s just trying to have a polite conversation. Try it out. You never know. He may be the nicest, sweetest, most kind guy you will ever meet. Better than some creep you might find in a bar or club
