I was happy to find out just last night that there was a 4th episode in the last series of Sherlock that I hadn’t seen. Great episode. Good lead in to next year. I’m a fan of doctor strange, but to be honest I’m not that impressed with the trailer. I find the casting for the ancient one to be terrible, not criticising the actress. Feels too much like inception, not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. I hope it does good, but I’m skeptical. I will probably catch some heat for this but…”am I the only one worried about the overall look of the magic in this movie?” Once again it seems to me a lot of “Inception/Matrix” like shots in this film. They could have taken a page out of Warcrafts playbook & the overall look of magic in that movie. I get what your saying Brenden…however I just want more color & runes/enchantments imagery. Warping reality I’m totally on board with “heck it’s a major part of the comics” I’m just scared they are gonna be to heavy with it. I’d like to see more Steve Ditko 1960s psychedelic inspired artwork Dr.Strange. Hopefully they do…these are only trailers. I got faith in Marvel.

Right you are Joshua Figueroa Strange is older then both. However this is the first time Strange has been depicted on a big budget film. The Matrix was a vision depicted on film / Warcraft from video game & recently to a live film. My only concern is that certain magical/cgi affects are woven into the movie. At no point did I say “Inception or The Matrix” was better or “supreme” to Dr. Strange. There are so many applications for Doctor Strange concepts. This trailer really shows what Marvel Studios can run with on film that the comics could do in 2D. Not belittling the comics at all. They were badass and creative, but this allows an ass ton of visual leg room. The trailer has me convinced. the race is only part of the problem. There was no reason to change the sex too. Other than them giving into feminists who say there aren’t enough female characters. When in reality there are, they just aren’t as popular. But, that doesn’t mean they should change other popular characters to women. Just like they are doing to iron man and many others. I mean come on, it’s iron MAN.. not iron teen-age girl.
