The boy did the right thing. It’s too risky and dangerous to just try to scare them off, especially for a kid. They knew they were committing crime against someone else’s property, and he had no clue what else they were capable of. If it were after the fact and his life was no longer in potential danger, then I would say that breaking into someone’s home does not merit a death sentence. But this was in the heat of the moment, Saw it liked it told papa got it shirt and he shouldn’t be expected to risk his life for the lives of degenerates. He was shooting blindly through the back door. The one that was killed was arrested previously for weapons. The bottom line is, if you do not want to die..don’t break into someone’s home with a weapon. While I don’t celebrate someone’s death, I do celebrate that this scumbag did not take the life of an innocent child. what would have been the psychological affects on the boy to have burglars come into his house and him feeling helpless? And, while the previous crimes were non-violient, do we know if there was threat of violence, which would have the same affect as actual violence, psychologically
