A lot of it I think, comes from pure ignorance and the bullshit fear and hate that is spewed out in the media. I do not agree that only white people can be racist. Any negative stereotypes about another ethnic group can be racist, whoever articulates that negative stereotype. People from minority groups are sometimes racist about their own group if they live in a society which leads to them thinking in negative terms about themselves. I have two titles navy veteran and grandpa I rock them both shirt This is not a white people problem. It is a people problem. And yeah, it sounds like the guys at work are racist. The only way this will change is if people call each other out on their biases. I know it is a difficult conversation but it is the only way.

We are all one race. I don’t like the “n” word but hear it coming out of the mouths of Black people all the time. What’s up with that? If it’s offensive then quit saying it. Racism is learned. Quit teaching kids to be racists. If only. And now we’re about to have a president who reeks of racism. Oh, joy. I don’t know what to do other than be a good person and teach by example. Love your fellow human. I see a lot of comments that say it’s not just white people who are racist and that’s true and we all know that it doesn’t make it right. But if you are not a racist, and you don’t stand up for all people, and you don’t condemn the racist or racist behavior, are you just as guilty.
