I was the one buying all his stuff he needed ..however he feels I owe him and that I was a horrible person…. Soo I know what your going through and Easter bunny I said a hip-hop hippity to the hip hip hop shirt it ain’t always the parents fault….I tried…I take blame for losing them in the first place but I tried to mend the relationship to no success …..it’s all I can do.

When your young and have 3 kids by the age of 18 and life was hard and u had no knowledge of how to even parent a child nevermind 3 (yes my mistake cause I shouldn’t of gotten pregnant ) at that age…not saying they were mistakes but I was young and very active. Also was a hard time in my life as I was just getting on my feet from being on the streets for many years ….children’s protection got involved and kids were removed …I fought tooth and nail for them kids however their was no success…when they got older and was able to see me Easter bunny I said a hip-hop hippity to the hip hip hop shirt tradgidy happened with 2 of them…

I had no contact with them for years before this and was not ready to be seeing them in the institution they were in for years….and the next one wanted to blame me for not having custody of him and was raised by his dad ..said I didn’t raise him and left him….he knows that I fought children’s protection he knows I did what I could but still has amanosity against me because of it…he now disrespects me and we barely speak….only on special occasions….says I owe him child support as he’s now an adult ….mind u thru his years I saw him all the time while he lived with his dad….

I don’t know if Ceiera Thompson has a problem with what you wrote, but I sure do. Children have minds of their own and sometimes put their own (incorrect) spin on things that they see or hear, resulting in grudges against a parent. Sometimes peer pressure causes them to disagree with a parent’s “rules” and they choose to hold a grudge, perhaps even leaving home. Children DO hold grudges against parents at times that the parent did nothing to cause. Hopefully, when time passes these same children will realize that what they believed was not how things really were and the relationship can be repaired and even be better than ever.
