My 15 year old kid sister can do amazing makeup and hair but still likes me to do her hair. I wouldn’t call it spoiled or lazy.
It is just something she enjoyed as a child and still enjoys today. Speaking from a personal experience of having to grow up quickly….sure teach them how to do things and how to tend on their own but they have the rest of their lives to be adults about it. I can’t understand why most people want point at or blame the child! She is just child needing help with her home work! If she likes her mom to do her hair Easter cat bunny ears and eggs shirt so what it’s probably TLC one on one time she likes with her mom! I’m sure she looks like a kid from age 8 to 10 yrs old she knows how to do it her self. It’s just special mom time she likes. They’re simply pointing out how the dynamic of the house could be if the child were more independent and had chores as well as the father helping.

my daughter was 12 and 13 and I still had to do her hair because she had SUPER thick, curly long hair and it was impossible to do. Everyday it took 35 minutes to do! 20 minutes at night just to untangle it and brush it out and then I put it in braids, so that it wouldnt tangle, while she slept, but guess what? Somehow, it still tangled, so I had to spend another another 15 minutes to brush it out again in the morning. Lol. There’s NO way, she could have ever done her own hair. I could barely get a Brush through her thick, curly hair. It went down past her waist. I didn’t mind doing this though, because we all liked her long hair and brushing it out was bonding time for us. Finally, we started to thin it out, and when she was in high school, we cut it shorter, but she still had a super hard time. Today, as an adult, she keeps her hair short.
