Glad I read this comment. My significant other left me after two years. What upset me so much about it, was that he didn’t give me any reasons. We didn’t have any really big issues, and from all appearances we were doing great. Then one day he just out of the blue packed his stuff while I wasn’t home. After I got home all he told me was that he wasn’t happy anymore and he was leaving. No idea why, nothing I could pin any unresolved problems to learn from, no idea where he went, just nothing. I realize now that he was probably using me or cheating on me. It just sucked not having any explanation after so long. it would seem to me that you gave him multiple chances to come clean from lying to you constantly and though you loved him, you simply had enough of his behavior and let him go. Sadly he did not learn what he needed to from this and he chose to retaliate and hide his own actions by attempting to make you look like the one at fault…. I’m truly sorry this happened to you and pray you’ll find someone whom will love and respect you the way you do for them. People think that the grass is greener on the other side, unfortunately when they get to the other side they find they’ve been spray painting the grass everyday. Of course by the time you figure that out you’ve lost your wife/husband, children and etc. No, the grass is greener on the other side because they’re not over there fucking it up. I wouldnt down the other woman/man. All the blame and disgust lies on the cheating partner, lets remember to keep it that way.
