You are such an inspiration, your story brought happy tears to my eyes. I wish you continued succes in your journey…and you’re funny if you ever decide to do Stand Up (again) I’m there front and center Cheering you all the way This is the day I needed to hear your message. I will carry your words with me. When I get up on that stage I will hear your voice,” Skull love white daisy flower shirt Now, I choose to speak”. Thank you! God bless you. I am a firm believer, God gives us what we need, which is not necessarily what we want. My past “adversity” has become a blessing and my greatest strength as a youth mental health professional. I use to stutter as a chid. It was sickness to talk to any one. I over came the stuttering. Now i can speak very good. Still have a little stutter some times. What i did . i start reading books to myself out loud

Sometimes things we take for granted is a struggle for other people. But knowing this communication disorder is something hard to deal with, this man effort is really inspiring. This touched me at a very deep level. Thank you Joze for sharing your beautiful story with us. Adversity can be painful and challenging and yet at the very same time, a gift. You have a beautiful voice that complements your entire being. The girl in your story was a great teacher. My brother had a speech problem when he was very young. The dr told my mom his brain worked faster than his speech. As he matured he outgrew his problem.
I also stutter !! Didn’t stutter when l was a toddler . Dr’s told me maybe I was scared or went through a traumatic event that left me like breathless ?? I don’t Know however l understand about NOT being able to talk out in school. I also tried to avoid public speaking as it would make me nervous and then l would clam up. So YES I’v been through a lot of embarrassing situations. Just have to explain that a person stutters and move on. I still stutter today and I’m 58 years old although less then before still at times when l know someone has to listen to me l still stutter . Heck I’v learnt to live with it. As long as it dosnt get any worse than today then I’m okay
