Reading the comments is more disturbing than what happened to this woman because it helps me to understand how someone could have felt justified in ripping her baby from her arms. People think that those who need help are somehow less than others and should be treated as such. Not everyone will have high paying jobs because we need janitors and food service workers Sugar skull walk away i have anger issues and a serious dislike for stupid people shirt and fast food workers. Until we pay them a living wage, they will need supplemental assistance. This does mean that they are to be treated less than you would treat a CEO or president. Our dignity is not defined by job titles but by our humanity.

So many miss that point which means these incidents will continue to happen. people need to live within their means. The 70’s were so much worse than now. These young people have no clue!! We didn’t have many of these federal and state programs. We made it work. Didn’t have much, but we made it. I’m not sure what that has to do with respecting a person… people at every income level make mistakes and even reach out for help. For higher income earners, that comes in the form of loans and home equity loans that they even default upon. Does that mean that any person should be treated with less dignity than the other?
