I don’t think this is “good” for active duty or reservist. One thing both active and guard do not have is “time”. Taking a PT test in the guard was already a fiasco, this just makes it that much more of one…. add all the safety measures and it is a full blown goat screw. To measure endurance what they had was fine. All this is is “new leadership “ posturing….. change head gear, change uniforms, change dress uniforms….. blah blah blah…. In the end the soldier pays so some general can slap himself on the back and in the end he did nothing. You wanna make a change?
