For me, brown is my most beautiful colour….And remember, my dear, that you are living among people who speak and understand the same language as you…this is the most important thing. I was born and raised here, and for the most part, was a very sheltered person. When I finally experienced racism I was so confused by the concept. “wait, why are you treating me so cruelly? What have I done to upset you?” I don’t have a step daughter I have a freaking awesome daughter shirt Although this may be the absolute worst decision, it is the decision that gets me to move on with my life. I laugh at the racism. I laugh alongside them, criticizing things in my life I cannot control, however once people realize they cannot get any resentment or animosity out of you, they end up leaving you alone. Sure I could fight it, and I have, but it always results in verbal retaliation. Victoria Mercedes you seem like a very honest, and sincere human being and I hope my experience has provided some kind of useful information.

It angers me as quite a lot of english people cannot speak the language themselves, fluently or choose not too. And by this I mean people who prefer to say ‘eyar’ instead of ‘here you are.’ But they are so quick to beat down groups belonging to different ethnic backgrounds, for not being experts in the field of the english language. It also annoys me as it could be argued many people who go travelling to different countries, may not know the language of wherever they are visiting. It’s shameful we are still able to point out differences and discriminate them. We should be helping one and other, not following the every man for himself concept.
