I still see a lot of people complaining… smh. If you take just $5 per kid out of your paycheck each week, that is $260 a year per kid that you can put towards school supplies. If $5 is too much, they have programs that help supply needy families with supplies for school.

I was always sad to see you go back to school, but knew you had to go. As a preschool teacher it’s nice when parents are helpful and not complainers. Myself and other teachers I know have spent their own money to buy things their class needs. Sadly some teachers don’t teach anymore. The majority of my high school teachers didn’t do anything besides tell you a page to turn to, had the assignment wrote on the board and told you to lay it on the desk on the way out. If you had to ask anything it was usually a smart answer like “if you read it then you’d know it. She couldn’t understand it for us.” The best is when I had my math teacher tell me that I didn’t need to take practice sheets home, dyslexia wasn’t a learning problem…but now that my son is going into the 3rd grade I’m seeing his teachers do amazing things. As far as his school goes, they are definitely teaching and doing something right
