If we make the right choices earlier in life, our time will come faster. He talked about those that made it late in life but never talked about those that made it early in life. I agree with him, but not in full. This is a great message for those who are already meeting expectations in high school however kids still need to be pushed to meet expectations and build work ethics. Kids today are highly distracted and entitled already. That guy just lowered the bar of self responsibility for kids that need to be prepared to compete in the real world. Otherwise I do agree with the message. I agree with you. This message gives hope to those that start their dreams later on, but it’s more encouraging to older people. It’s beautiful. But teenagers, who already have fewer responsibilities, may interpret this as “I don’t have to worry.” Every action has a consequence and though the future is whatever you make it, those adults with late starts had to live with their choices. They had to live through those years of being single parents, working crap jobs before success, struggling.
