Everything about this story is so beautiful!! A wonderful woman raised a wonderful son. I am so glad I waited for all 3 parts. Leaving your mom and brothers had to be the hardest thing ever, on you and them. I’m so happy for you that you found grace and kindness in those that helped you. And to go to the police station for help, that had to be terrifying. Good for you. Live your best life, and those around you will see your light. And that’s the happy ending I was waiting for . It may not be so a bold dangerous step , but we can do something to change our circumstances. If every parent had kids like him, and every child had the support and love that his mother brings to him, the world would be a better place. This whole story made me cry. I’m not even sure how I feel. I’m kind of sad, very impressed, and fully content with the outcome. I wish I could hug him and his mother. Your story made me cry. Your love for your mom, your courage, and the kindness from the Italians and your foster family. It’s a beautiful story. I hope people in my country can be as nice to refugees as the Italians.
