I agree, but regardless if they have facilities in US or not, Army & USMC must always buy the best weapons, regardless where/what country makes them. Same with vehicles, jets, helos,, rockets, missiles radars comm gear, uniforms, etc etc. Global military marketplace is the place to be, np doubt. The effed up part is they sent troops downrange in 2011 with this weapon available but denied them the use.

The excuse was the troops didn’t have the training on the weapon system, so instead they sent them to Afghanistan with the 249s that weren’t functional. Imagine that. We can’t train you on this new, easily adjustable weapons system, so we will just send you downrange with ones that don’t work instead….. this is our pathetic department of defense and how much they actually care about the death of individuals wars. If it doesn’t serve their deep state purpose, it doesn’t serve them.
