I think people try too hard, throw themselves at any person with the requisite sexual organs that meets their fancy, end up broken and bitter because they were in too much of a rush. For every person that grew up with their perfect partner there is another one who will meet theirs in the least likely place imaginable. I know i did. He isn’t all that nice, he’s actually a massive asshole, just not to me. He isn’t perfect. Neither am I. No one is. But, he fits. ( in a purely metaphorical sense, he’s actually over six and a half feet tall weighs over three hundred pounds and really doesn’t physically fit anywhere). I am no more flawless than he is; i tend towards lazy, i only cook when i feel like it, i am overly opinionated, extremely argumentative, and quite frankly, a bitch and a half. I have a book habit more expensive than most people’s drug problem, and no one has ever claimed i was beautiful (with the exception of my husband who is blinded by my pork chops and chocolate pie). It is a new idea that all women should expect a perfect man. Why? You are far from perfect.
