Albert we may not have had an actual world war (thank god)… but multiple conflicts with good cause to the US and our allies. We do multiple things like show of presence, humanitarian efforts, build schools, etc. Just because some huge world war hasn’t happened there is still much for us to do to make the USA and the rest of the WORLD a better and safer place because of 9/11. You’re a moron. we won the gulf war, and it was to help Kuwait out, to me that’s enough of a benevolent purpose. We didn’t invade Iraq because of 9/11, we did because of WMDs (thousands were found, obviously not nuclear but chemical ones) but due to the incompetence of our government. Which is why the whole isis thing is a bit of a self-made problem. Also for someone who’s spent a good amount of time on the Korean Peninsula, I’d like to think the actions of not only America but the other countries in the UN who participated in the Korean War did the right thing. And do you people understand that this is a test just to be a basic soldier. You’re going to get more training depending on where you going.
