Then it talks about economic impacts in Europe, things the church should not have a position on. I’m open to hearing arguments but this article was a mess.

Universal healthcare devalues life. It furthers the culture of death by putting a monetary value on a person’s life based on man-made value to society and quality of life. And of course, if you are sick or old or disabled you will take too many services from other “healthy” people, aka “worthy people,” so say goodbye to help and hello to euthanasia. One only needs to look at the UK and Charlie Gard to see how that works. Donald trump truly great dad you are a great dad shirt It also places moral decisions around ones health in the hands of the state (ie birth control, abortion, life support, etc) and that’s how it devalues life. I don’t want to pay for your abortions. I don’t want to pay for birth control. I don’t want to pay for you to euthanize grandma when she becomes “unproductive.” It’s already happening in our hospitals. I’ve witnessed first hand how doctors treat the sick elderly. How can people support universal “healthcare” with those evils on the table???

It sounds good, to not have hospital bills, but when it comes down to it, it’s expensive and selfish and eventually you wind up killing other human beings. Wasn’t it Denmark (or perhaps Sweden) that was boasting its low population of citizens with Down syndrome because of the state aborting them? I am not convinced, after speaking with other nurses from some of these other countries, that people are being honest. Sure there is…ya break a leg, ya don’t get a bill. But how about a 78 year old with cancer? do they get full treatment the same as say a 35 year old? Cost savings comes from somewhere, it has to. In addition, when people complain about insurance companies in the US….there are still choices ya get. I would not want the federal judges telling me and mine that we cannot choose to leave the country, or even hospital, that we cannot use charitable contributions to pay for care, etc.
