The Veterans got to speak about the war and their lost friend, the Town expressed their sorrow for taking so long to do this but in the long run they came through and it was beautiful. My husband was in the Navy during that time and it was sad the way our country treated our service men and women at their home coming. That war was no different than any other war except for the fact we had the media over there posting every move we made and sending it to the TV news for all of the world to see. That didn’t happen in World War I and II. People didn’t see the day by day happenings at those wars. I’m a dad grandpa and a veteran nothing scares me shirt So we can thank the politicians and the media for that distinction. I just want to thank and mention that in 2016 the Town of Plymouth Ma., had an amazing Memorial and tribute to all Vietnam Veterans from Plymouth to Remember and honor them with plaques, coins, and pins.

We cannot go back and undo all the suffering of the war. What we must do is insure that the surviving veterans of all wars are treated respectfully. We now have an administration that is determined to dismantle the Veterans Healthcare system so their friends and supporters can siphon off the money now used to care for veterans. They must be stopped Thank you my husband who served in Nam and still to this day battles with the horrors of his service all these years later. And thank you to all the loved ones of these vets for sticking by them and understanding these horrors they live with everyday and night
