Kneeling is not disrespectful. If the protesters turned their backs on the anthem, or were doing anything disrespectful, people complaining about it would have a valid point. Kneeling has always been a sign of the highest respect, so I have no problem with the protest and I support their Noble efforts The protest has absolutely nothing to do with veterans or patriotism. They aren’t being unpatriotic by kneeling. One kneels in church to show reverence and respect. It is a respectful protest and those shouting the most loudly against it are trying to turn it into a wedge racial issue to rally the far right. Well that’s fine but just know that that’s what they are fighting for. They are fighting for this country to be the greatest. They are fighting for those people to be able to protest to make this country as great as we can be. A veteran literally told him that it was more respectful to kneel then to sit.
