pregnancies have gone down significantly since this show began airing and while the girls do have more financially they have clearly added a much higher level of stress and aggravation to their lives by having children too young…and with men they did not know well enough to marry… 15yo then became a mama at 16, it was only a little bit of a struggle until I was 17/18 when I could finally get my own place and a license and car… Straight outta pre-k 2019 preschool graduation shirt my kids have everything, have done so much in their little life’s already, I mean I never get my nails or hair done or buy makeup or ever go out or anything because that just isn’t affordable for me to have a luxury life too as well as them. The money side sucks a little, and now studying full time with kids is very busy but it’s not “hard” …and no my parents dont help with finances or anything. I’m now 21yo so my eldest is 5yo and I can still count how many times my kids have been baby sat etc.

I agree with you about having compassion for teen moms. My problem is so many of the original 16 and Pregnant are way past teens and continue to get pregnant within just months of being with a new man. It’s long past a show to highlight teen struggles and try to inform and help teens to mature. It now it glorifies how you too can become a celebrity and earn a living by having babies… piece of cake! It’s just another reality show that depends on shock and drama to get viewers and make money for everyone involved. Of course the co-stars to this baby momma/daddy drama are children but, please… don’t let that stop them!
