I saw the original in the theater when I was a kid. I took my Mom with my allowance that I had saved up. The lion king to my boyfriend I love you canvas It was a special memory. My kids have seen the original and loved it. However, all of us are looking forward to this live action version. I am excited.

I feel the same way you Not pumped by the movie trailer. Why? Because i already saw this movie in theaters 30 years ago (the animated version of it). maybe because Walt Disney himself wrote in his will to rerelease all his movies every ten years so kids can experience what we already have and to have us remember the feelings these movies gave us im excited looks good too me. The lion king to my boyfriend I love you canvas U got a good point things are different now. your replacing the original for the next generation they want to watch this instead of the original classic. U can’t get kids into watching the classic Disney movies what we’re watching as a kid in the 90s if ur a 90s kid. they like the stuff they they do now.

To us its not that good except frozen. It will be a visual spectacle, first and foremost, with an incredible cast and a great remade soundtrack. A few story elements might change but it will be interesting to see the film and make comparisons to the original. I agree but I do thinks that it’s more for people who want to relive their childhood. For many it was a magical movie that we hold dearly to our hearts. It’s not for us who have seen it and grown up with the original. It’s for an entirely new generation of children. I’m still looking forward to it though, as a 27 year old who loves the original.
