I wish she can realize that she deserves to be loved. She does not look or sound like someone who is happy with her choices. i think it’s interesting that so many people read the line “give yourself the gift on loving again” to imply that’s she stating this woman needs a partner to be fulfilled. That’s not how I interpret that line at all. We can interpret sayings so differently sometimes. Yeah, that’s the tought thing. It’s like the people who hurt us still have a rope around us sometimes even when we’ve left that situation. And it’s not easy to rewrite those stories and to tell ourselves that the world can be experienced differently. You are only a survivor if you soften your heart and learn to love again, until then you are still his victim. Learn to love again and have the good life you deserve, there are many wonderful people in the world.
