Kinda selfish imo i know it’s not my place to try and convince you not to think this way but I’d like to share the way I see this. When we are at the beginning of our lives we are completely dependent and then at the end we close the cycle by becoming completely dependent again, and I think that may be life’s very last and most important lesson, to let go of oneself voluntarily, to humbly accept that in our decline we are to be recipients of care and to obey those who then will know better, even against our own desires and thoughts.
