I fully understand where you’re coming from. I gave birth to 4 – 2 boys, 2 girls. Their father ran off with a rich Cuban when they were 4, 9, 10 and 11. I raised them by myself, sometimes working two jobs so they could have and do the things they wanted. Time marched on. Because of the woman my oldest son married (only 14 years younger than me) I lost 3 houses and they took me for over $42,000. (Yes, I was stupid but I loved him and never thought he would do these things to me.) My youngest daughter came and took all my collectibles…45 Hummels, 10 Precious Moments, boxes of antique crystal and Christmas ornaments and disappeared. She then tried to turn my youngest son against me, and though I backed him down on the lies she told him, he still believes her. My oldest daughter at our last meeting said she loved me, hugged me and would call me the next week. That was 20 years ago, and I have never heard from her. No explanation on any of their parts why they would do this to me. I’m 79 now and all I have of my children are the home movies of them.
