We aren’t responsible for them either. What we are responsible for is teaching our kids and our youth to not repeat the past. To teach kids Letterkenny you are spare paris aren’t ya bud to be fair shirt that everyone is the same that skin color doesn’t make you better than the next skin color. If we keep trying to guilt trip for the past all you do is create resistance from people in the present and that bleeds into the people of the future.

My great-grandparents came over from Ireland after 1865 and the Emancipation Proclamation was in effect and slaves were free . Thus, my grandparents were born here and my parents and myself. Therefore, nobody in my family ever had slaves. How am I responsible for reparations? Serious question! even if you’re not responsible for your forefathers, it’s not like your actual fathers, uncles and grandparents have done things Letterkenny you are spare paris aren’t ya bud to be fair shirt that made life harder for black people and POC in this country and by default made life easier for white people I’m mostly Irish and Native American. Both my lineage were slaves. So fuck black people (there’s my 30 day ban) and their black privilege. It’s really easy to tell you’re a victim by your skin, huh? Pussies, go shoot each other over drugs.
Welcome to the awesome collection

I’m no more responsible for what my great great great grandparents may have done than I am if my father was to murder someone today. I am responsible and will be held accountable for what I do. That’s it. Like do you have any background on American history? The reconstruction era in the south where mass lynchings were done to show that these people would never belong. The decades of Jim Crow laws that didn’t allow them same rights as white Americans , discriminating housing and employee practices. Seriously you guys are so sensitive and are so obtuse about this.
It doesn’t matter if you literally didn’t own slaves yourself. You and your ancestors even today, directly benefited from the subjugation and mistreatment of certain groups of people in this country. Just like I as a male, directly benefitted from society that doesn’t have true equality for women. I was born into it, I did nothing to create it, but I recognize I benefit from it, and because of that there’s certain things that as a male, I’ll never have to experience.
