I completely agree we should not try to make them something they are not but kids need guidelines for sure they need to learn to be great full and learn empathy and be kind to other kids. The problem is lots of our kids are becoming addicted to their virtual circle of friends and games, social media etc, you try to pull a kid away from that and see what happens, yes in most cases violence anger etc, at this addiction stage the child would need a psychologist, Landed on the moon shirt so my point is please give solid guidelines. To everyone who is disagreeing with this video. Understand this. She’s not saying don’t teach the right from wrong…. She’s saying don’t push your ideal of perfect. I grew up in a home where I couldn’t be an artist I had to be a lawyer. But because I didn’t want to be a lawyer my mother ridiculed me for years.
I’m an artist and I make really good money and now I’m accepted… Because I make money…. That’s the point. My mom only sees me as a successful daughter if I can earn money…. This video has nothing to do with morals. It’s all to do with LOVEING your child no matter what they want to be. here is the answer to the question we talked about yesterday. I have always loved the 3 of you for who you are, not who I thought you needed to be and with no expectations except for you all to grow up healthy and to find joy in your lives. It’s a great advise for all the parents including myself ; we try to make our child of what we are, we never think of his being and that’s why he doesn’t grow well enough and promote himself naturally.
