You seriously sound like you have no experience with babies…they cry for a multitude of reasons…dirty diaper, tummy ache, teething, being overly tired, handled too much, sleepy, and sometimes, just like us grown folks, they just wake up in a down mood! Jeeze…some people dumbfound me! Again, you dumbfound me. What does his pacifier have to do with his hearing?? wth are you talking about? My comment had nothing to do with his crying or his hearing. It was his reaction to the pacifier, and after watching it again (yes I did), he’s also acting like he’s hungry when his hands get close to his mouth. I was not commenting at all on any other reactions. And fyi, my comment was meant to be light-hearted, since anyone with “experience with children” can recognize a hungry child. Good, and be done, cuz you are way off base. I picked up the baby being hungry….. him going to town on his hand and the pacifier always seemed to be a tell tale sign my kiddos were hungry at that age……all 6 of them….I nursed them on demand and that’s how they would act…….some appts will tell you to bring your kiddos hungry do they’ll be more awake a mb d alert or so you can feed them while there and they can go right to sleep…..my 4th had slight deafness and they would want me to wait til the appt to feed so who knows…. every baby is different, but I was sensing a little hungry fella as well
