Good possibility since the Ironworks was a big part of Mikes story, and he didn’t get the story of the Black Spot out of his dad until years later. Maybe the ironworks was converted into the meat plant or something. In the book though, I recall the black spot being gone completely. We shall see. From what I’ve seen n these lil previews it looks like it’s following fairly close to the book. I laughed so hard at pennywise at the end of this trailer. Looked like he was trying to be a schitzophrenic cartoon character with tourettes…and Danny’s repeated “you’ll float too line” had so little emotion in it that i laughed at that too The book didn’t actually creep me out too much compared to the Shining or even the beginning of The Stand. And I wasn’t a huge fan of the reveal of what IT was, as for how they got rid of it- ugh!!!
