You get used to it, eventually. And honestly, Goku is a better character in Japanese. He is more carefree in his fights, whereas English…he just sounds like a hard ass all the time, which conflicts too much with his out of fight personality. true but isn’t the kamehameha roshi’s signature move? A lot of characters can do it so I wouldn’t call it Goku’s signature move, he didn’t even invent it. Movie was good but like Kale and Caulifla, Dragon ball Z I’m not the monster you think I am I’m worse Goku shirt Broly gets all this power out of nowhere. Based on this movie our 2 heroes that we been watching aka Vegeta and Goku are pretty weak and slow to get strong even with all the training. All the accomplishments we saw then achieve in years of watching others can do within a few days to hours time. So are they even worth being the 2 main characters when others can accomplish so much more?

compared to all the new saiyans that show up that start with only base form and don’t even know about super saiyan can somehow catch up to goku and vegeta within a few hours to days proves otherwise Well the movie already said that Broly’s “battle potential” aka power level was pretty high as a child. So that already let us know that he was going to be pretty strong off gate. I actually do like the explanation for him being so strong.

The fact that he can harness and use the power of the Great Ape without actually transforming into the actual ape. It explains why he loses control and I also like how it actually is something new instead of just being a new transformation. Not a Legendary Super Saiyan Blue God of Instinct or anything like that. Just a dude that can tap into the power of the Great Ape. you’ve gotta take into account that the new saiyans we see have also been training in their universes. Have had plenty of battle experience, but just doesn’t realize or know how to tap into that “hidden potential”. Goku and Vegeta does, and just like every Saiyan, they want them to transform in order to provide a good matchup so they end up teaching them how. They don’t catch up to Goku or Vegeta by any means that quickly
