Ours have been wonderful w babies, kids, teens, cats, a chinchilla, a ferret, family, friends, & neighbors over the years. There’s only 2 ppl 2 of our Rotties didn’t care for. They females were much younger, 8-9 mos old. I would definitely contact a Rottie rescue organization. They will bring the dog to your home for a home visit. They make sure all of their vaccinations are current. If there is a problem with the dog, they will find the dog another home. My motto is ‘Don’t shop, adopt’. They think they’re supposed to look that way, but they’re not. They should be lean and well muscled, to be healthy.
