that’s what I thought. Police officers can’t just wear their uniform when they aren’t on duty. And the article said attending not working. So again why would they even be in uniform. The shirt should be just fine it’s not that it was allowed before, it’s that they were forced to appear in uniform whether they wanted to participate or not, and stand behind Obama for a photo op when he was pushing the ACA. I feel if the article meant they weren’t allowed to work in uniform it would said that Not sure what branch of service you were in, but it has been all service directives since the 60’s. So, call it bull shit. You were in violation of UCMJ. Just because you were not called on it does not make it not against military code. If you were part of unit participation, that is one thing. But, individual participation/attendance you were wrong. I guess I better tell my VFW, American Legion, DAV family that they can’t wear their uniforms and covers anymore in parades, or at Memorial services, or in public.
