You know, this is such a comment I can relate. A day before pride I was overwhelmed with the amount of ‘support’ from companies across central. But my question is, where were their support before gay marriage? What about homosexual laws? they were nowhere to be seen. So why now? Money. LGBT movement is perpetuating it’s own discrimination! Classic. Yeah I am a gay man, I’ve been refused flat out for a job once as I was told “someone like you would not get on well here” it was a job in a freaking gym. I didn’t go in waving a gay flag with background music to Madonna. My point. There is a reason for pride to show people discrimination is just flat out wrong. The next big thing for the LGBT community is to tackle the homophobia within our immigrant communities. Many people from cultures ranging from Eastern Europe to the Middle East and Africa, Asia the rest of world of many religions and belief systems are outwardly homophonic and the British residents and citizens from within these communities are unable to come out and face awful levels of homophobia while the mainstream liberals and even the gay scene are willing to turn a blind eye to the normality of people from minority groups not being ‘out.
