This July 2022, Nigo’s Kenzo Autumn Winter 2022 collection, which is currently most anticipated by fans, will be released. Art Director Nigo’s second collection continues a fresh creative story that combines the French heritage of the fashion house with the Japanese breath of founder Kenzo Takada.

Since the Kenzo fashion house was founded, designer Kenzo Takada has built a clear vision for the fashion brand that bears his name. Accordingly, he wishes to bring the design style on traditional costumes of East Asians in general and Japan in particular into European fashion.
However, after the founder left Kenzo in 1999, the fashion house seems to have lost the uniformity in design style and no longer clearly shows its own identity. Now, under the guidance of the designer known as the “godfather of Japanese streetwear”, Nigo did not disappoint the fashionistas with his first collection at this fashion house.
The Kenzo Fall Winter 2022 collection includes 60 outfits, fully carrying the original vision of the founder of Takada’s fashion house building. For example, the iconic poppy flower motif has been transformed into something new on oversize shirts, jackets, waistcoats as well as on maxi skirts and dresses. Or the fun animal design handbags are also Nigo’s way of honoring Kenzo’s legacy.
Overall, the collection creates new trends among young people for the next Fall-Winter 2022 season. Among them are the colors that promise to dominate the fashion village in 2022 such as yellow, pink, kelly blue… Besides the poppy flower motif, Nigo also integrates tartan motifs, vertical stripes … into its designs according to many different styles. All of that has shown that Nigo has brought a new breeze to Kenzo fashion house to harmoniously balance classic heritage values with modern style, suitable for the majority of fashionistas today.
