Danny McBride said they almost filmed the sequel back to back with this one since they had so many ideas, but decided to hold off to see how this one does. John Carpenter doesn’t hold any rights, he’s just saying he might be done after helping score the music. Ok, where to begin… Why I like the direction of this story is cuz it falls in line with Carpenter’s original thinking about the movie. It was originally called “The Babysitter Stalker” or something to that effect. #Halloween, as a franchise was intended to be an anthology. Which is why we get “Halloween III Season of the Witch”. Carpenter was hoping to rebrand the #Halloween franchise back to it’s original idea. But the genie was outta the bottle.Firstly, I am soooo excited for this. Michael Myers is my slasher husband. And because he’s my slasher husband I watched and still watch, EVERY Halloween, all the Halloween movies, even the sucky ones and I love them all cuz I love Michael. Now, what is sucky to me maybe awesome to you. That’s fine. Like I said, I love them all, even the sucky ones.
