They were simple opinions or responses based on discussions above. I do not walk around thinking people need to hear anything from me. Which is why i formed my original post as a question and not a comment. I did not say BLM needs to be in Caribana…..I asked if they would be there……and I will still hold true to my belief that it would be wonderful to see them there. Three glasses of wine halloween shirt See the video….hear the chants and read their posters…..I am asking if that same BLM March with those same banners and same messages would be present in Caribana as it is an important message and I think they should take this march to other parades.

I did not say that all Black people shoudl march in Caribana. I do not tell people how to think or feel. But this is a movement and a movement needs to go to more places than just 1 parade. Please tell me why that is wrong or somehow racist? Why are you assuming they aren’t? We are Black and gay 24 hours a day, there are already long established networks of queer Black people doing work. The point of Black Lives Matter is resisting anti-Blackness through disruption, so why would they protest at Caribana? i didn’t assume they aren’t marching
